28.December, 2008
i have looked into so many work at home jobs… and only to find out they are all scams to get 20-100 bucks of from you and keep leading you in circles. work at home, MLM'S / PYRIMIDS, ONLINE SURVEYS, SECRET SHOPPERS, HELL EVEN MAILING OUT LETTERS TO MAKE $5,000 A DAY ETC. and theres thoasands of this crap junk every where you look! is there any out there that is really the real deal where a person can actually make money for real??
Of course, yes, but you have to realize it's still work. I work and I make money. How long have you tried a network marketing home-base business? If you're looking for an honest home-based business and not a get-rich-quick-for-no-work scam, click my avatar.

I need advice on advertising my web-sites?
24.December, 2008
I just signed up with a MLM and I received 3 web-sites/pages to market my biz. I am however, really confused about how to, or which company to go with, to drive traffic to my sites. There are thousands of others signed up with the same co. who come up in a search engine. I considering email advertising or just buying leads. I want to spend as little as possible; I am just getting started and I do not want to end up putting more into this biz than I am getting out of it. I would appreciate your comments.
Thanks in advance!
I recommend you promote your deal with the Business Opportunity Search Engine
Write an article and submit it. Being community driven it’s a cross between a search engine and a Wikipedia. You can add, delete and improve the results for much more focused answers than a general search engine can provide.

For an MLM to be legal, must an actual, real product be being sold?
22.December, 2008
I know what a "gifting" scheme is, and also a pyramid, but multi-level marketing is (or can be) a legitimate business model — but I am curious what defines the "product" that I believe it would be legally required to be selling. For example, I've seen many where what you buy is a very expensive set of books and tapes on self motivation and success, or a website to promote your business, or some other purchase that helps you duplicate the same effort that lead you to pay for it, so you can help others do the same thing…but that does NOT really relate to any other consumer use or purpose.
Does this make it essentially a gifting matrix, but with a (greatly inflated) "product" being "sold"? And if so, I'm not saying I'm automatically opposed to that, but my question is: does that make it legal and acceptable? Thanks for any input…
Also, where do you research the ins and outs of such matters? Thanks!
Darren,
A great example how to differentiate between the examples is to look at this article in wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_scheme
Hope this helps!
I may be able to assist further, just give me a shout.
BEST WISHES!

Ok, start by dissecting the claims.
Claim
U.S. entrepreneurial legends running this thing and they have made $1.5 billion in their last two businesses.
Think about this. If their last two ventures were so successful then why are they running their successful ventures? Investigate these people and their businesses. I would not be suprised if you found that the businesses were not that successful or that there might have been some legal problems with them.
Claim
The liquid supplement was featured in Esquire magazine.
How? Was it an article? Was it a paid ad? Big difference there. Was it in there at all? Can the person making the claim give information as to what month and year this feature happened.
Claim

First of all, that is idiotic. That means that there are people out there earning $900,000 a year selling this stuff and it is not a well known product. If there were people legitimately making this kind of money selling a product then there should be all kinds of articles about it. The product should be pretty famous in the US.
Claim
Over 2500 people have joined in the first few weeks!
This is a marketing ploy. Making it seem like everyone is wanting to get in on this. However, just because 2500 people have jumped in on this does not mean it is a good idea. Given the size of Delhi, it would not be too hard to find 2500 idiots. Also, there is no way to verify this number. They could have just made it up.
Top positions in my 2 teams are going fast
Cheap salesman tactic to make it seem like there is some urgency to jump on board. This makes a person anxious and that person will not be willing to investigate further because investigation takes time. Have you ever heard a used car salesman say that someone else was looking at that same car you are looking at just earlier that day?
I have known many people who have tried MLMs (legal and otherwise). I have never known one to be successful at it.

Make 100K in 100 days with the investment of $3500 dollars in this ad run in the newspaper. Does this work?
18.December, 2008
This is an ad in the USA Today. My husband called and listened to the taped "seminar". Although they do not say it is a MLM it follows a chain of persons below. Has anyone done this, truly, and it really be worth the effort that it claims to be? And only take a tiny bit of time per week to be successful as we don't really have much time at all. Do the leads they provide actually work out? Or do you have to get your own leads yourself?
that is so stupid, look at it like this. If the company running the ad can make 100k for every 3500 they invest why would they invest in an advertisement in USA today? They are much better off investing into their own program and making a fortune.

Has anyone signed up for Avon and did you really make money at it??
17.December, 2008
I am thinking about doing it as a part time thing, but I want to know if anyone has made any significant money at it? And if so, where did you go to get good leads??
NO MLM POSTINGS PLEASE BECAUSE I WILL VOTE THEM AS THUMBS DOWN. THANKS
All the successful Avon ladies I've met started out by showing it to family and friends. Then the family and friends showed the brochures to their family and friends and so on until a very nice customer base was built up. Avon is a very well respected company with an excellent product line. I am a 44 yr old female who has used the Anew anti-aging line for a couple of years and does that stuff ever work! I really like their make up too and that is the only kind I wear.
Like any business venture, building up a customer base will take time and effort. Even though I don't sell Avon myself, I would highly recommend the company to anyone willing to put in the effort to build up their business.

How does one succeed in network marketing/mlm?
14.December, 2008
Ok, I have now tried several different companies that have been around 20 plus years with reputable products that I have used and seen results from and are easy to get excited about. I have tried warm market, cold market and pre-interviewed leads. I have followed a script (Dani Johnson). I have a positive attitude and have done a little studying into sales and communication. I have gone to meetings, been on conference calls and have bought promotional materials (catalogs, demos, etc). But I have not had 1 sale, much less sponsered anyone. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. How can someone like me, who has so much desire and puts forth so much effort, succeed instead of just watching others who do so much less get so far ahead? I really want to know what I'm doing wrong so I can be successful. Any serious advice would be greatly appreciated.
I'm not looking for "get rich quick". I know that to succeed in anything, it takes hard work and commitment. I'm just trying to figure out what the people I'm watching make millions have that I don't.
I forgot to mention, I'm not looking for a new company (who I'm currently with has been around for 20 plus years with no signs of slowing). I don't want advertising answers, I am looking for something that can help me switch from "trying" to "doing" and become successful.
A common query…
The answer…
Become a Renegade.
Is this serious advise?
Let's put it this way. I don't have
to approach friends, or family.
No meetings, conference calls, or promotional material.
No warm market, cold market and pre-interviewed leads.
No way!
How can someone like me, who has so much desire and puts forth so much effort, succeed instead of just watching others who do so much less get so far ahead?
Own a website (not replicated)
People who like my website decide to contact me because they like the information and wanted to learn more.
And if I decide to show Google or Yahoo ads, I can.
When you own a website - the rules change.
Crunch the facts. It's scary.

Success Secrets & Truth About ACN. Do you have a story to tell? I want to know. MLM Scam or Not a Scam?
12.December, 2008
Can I quit my day job and be an exclusive ACN rep? Will I make enough money to survive and actually receive a passive residual income as a (ETT) Executive Team Trainer. How will I get leads when I can't "cold call" or advertise? I don't know very many people. Is there any one there who would like to help me, I hate selling but I sure like any assistance I could get. Is Yahoo Answer the best place to look for recruits, results, or referrals? Again, Is there anyone who would like to join me and raise me to become a Team Coordinator? Wouldn't you rather get paid on 2% of 100 of people's efforts than 100% of your own effort. If so, help me. Email me or Visit http://quickstart.acnrep.com and let me know what you think, either way. I want to change my life for a better tomorrow, wouldn't you? Do you have a better ideas? What do you think of becoming a ACN rep or if anyone like me approach you become one? Would you pay an initial fee, if it has a promising future and A+ successes?
If you were told it was going to be easy, you were told wrong!
But, on that note, no MLM is Not a scam, but it does depend on what company you go through.
Look, I have studied Network Marketing and MLM for some time, and have just started blogging about it on my 360 site. I am willing to help any MLMer out there who is in the dark, because eventually you CAN make great money, but don't quit your day job just yet!
